Course prerequisites

In order to complete this module, delegates must...

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Obtain a Train the painter Bronze card for the one day course
  • No pre-requisite for the three-day course

Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the Train the Painter Thin Film Intumescent modules, delegates will be awarded with a certificate in Thin Film Intumescent Application.

You must complete Protective Coatings Applicator AND Abrasive Blast Cleaner AND Sprayer Painter.

The Thin Film Intumescent Coating course has been developed by coating experts at the Corrodere Academy in response to the strong demand for certification within the industrial coatings industry. This follows the requirements that personnel working within the Road, Rail, Renewables, and Oil and Gas industries obtain professionally specified certificates.

If your experience cannot be verified, the delegate will be issued with a trainee card. Any candidate found to not have the relevant experience will have their Bronze or Silver module revoked, and a trainee card will be issued.
