This Painter Blaster course provides you with both the theoretical knowledge, as well as a day of practical experience, to become qualified to work using multiple blast media.
The Abrasive Blast Cleaning course is a module of the Train the Painter programme which can be completed to obtain a Silver or Gold Card.
The course can either be delivered in our classroom or through the blended learning model. Blended learning is delivered as a combination of e-learning and practical training. Delegates will complete the e-learning elements of the course remotely from a smartphone, desktop computer, laptop, or tablet before the 1-day practical training. This will be delivered at PSI Global Training’s training centre in Liverpool.
Please Note: If booking the blended learning option, you must have access to a device and an internet connection to complete the e-learning elements of the course. Upon booking, delegates will be registered for the e-learning elements of the course which must be successfully completed before attending the practical training sessions.

You must complete Protective Coatings Applicator AND Abrasive Blast Cleaner AND Sprayer Painter.
The Abrasive Blast Cleaner course has been developed by coating experts at the Corrodere Academy. This was in response to the strong demand for certification within the Industrial Coatings industry that now requires personnel working within the Road, Rail, Renewables, and Oil and Gas industries to obtain professional specified certificates.
When booking, please ensure you upload a copy of your CV and a reference to verify your experience relevant to the course you’re looking to book. Once this has been received, our trainer, Jonathan, will arrange a call to discuss your experience and the details of the course. If your experience cannot be verified, the delegate will be issued with a trainee card. Any candidate found to not have the relevant experience will have their Bronze or Silver module revoked, and a trainee card will be issued.
