This area focuses on the necessity for Health and Safety standards to be set across several sectors.
If you are in a Supervisory role and have passed this course, you can then move on to the CCNSG Leading a Team Safely (LATS) course. This adds to the national course, teaching those who hold a site manager, supervisor, or team leader role how to uphold safe working methods to their team members.
The CCNSG course offers mandatory and essential basic health, safety, and environmental knowledge for people working on construction and engineering sites. Modules included over the two-day course include permits to work, relevant legislation, and regulations for work.
You will be assessed on each module of the Safety Passport via a multiple-choice exam.
Successful candidates will be awarded the CCNSG Safety Passport (also known by some as the ECITB Safety Passport or the CCNSG Passport). This is nationally recognised and will be valid for three years. As you get close to the expiration date, you can sit the CCNSG Renewal course. This lasts just one day and covers the basics, as well as any changes to relevant legislation.
The course will take place over two days, with delegates being expected to sit a multiple-choice exam at the end of each module. Successful candidates will receive temporary passports which are valid for six weeks until the CCNSG Safety Passport cards have arrived.
For further information or questions, please get in touch with our team directly at Bookings@psiglobaltraining.com. You can also book directly through our Booking Page to see what dates we have available now.
This course is put on by the ECITB, the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board, and is meant for people who work within the constriction and engineering industries. It’s also for those who are sub-contractors working within the installation and maintenance sectors.
When booking, please ensure you upload a copy of your CV and a reference to verify your experience relevant to the course you’re looking to book. Once this has been received, our trainer, Jonathan, will arrange a call to discuss your experience and the details of the course. If your experience cannot be verified, the delegate will be issued with a trainee card. Any candidate found to not have the relevant experience will have their Bronze or Silver module revoked, and a trainee card will be issued.
